Seasondebut in Takapuna, NZ

The 2009 season debut will be in Takapuna NZ this weekend. A high quality field will battle it out over a short sprint distance (500m-16km-4,6km). After a heavy rainfall that lasted for two days the sky is now clearing and looks to be a great afternoon of racing. I’m ofcourse very excited to get back into my racesuit and see where the last three months of training has taken me.

I’m certantly not the fastet (yet…) but flattering enough the Australian Triathlon & Multisport magazine mentioned my runningstyle as (one of) the best in the sport in a late 2008 issue.
