After taking the U23 World Championship in 2007, it was time for this blond bombshell to hit the elite World Cup tour with a full head of steam.

With one World Cup top-10 finish in 2007 (Rhodes, 7th), Norden stormed onto the 2008 circuit with authority. The Swede placed in the top five in each of her four World Cup races, including her first World Cup win in Lorient, France, on her way to a fifth-place finish in the overall World Cup points standings. Norden, the 2008 Swedish triathlon and dualathon champion as well, also claimed bronze at the European Championships and placed 18th at the Beijing Olympic Games. After the season she had in 2008, it is clear that Lisa Norden has arrived.
