Washington this weekend

Round three in the Dextro Energy World Championship Series comes to Washington on Sunday.

It will be my 2nd race for this season and I’ll be walking out on the pontoon as number 11. The field is strong with most of the top contenders racing so I’m expecting a hard day at the office. But training has gone well and I’m pretty much on track with where I want to be at this point. My fitness has increased nicely with the weeks in the mountains and I’m quite excited to get back into my racesuit again.

It’s quite a hectic month ahead of me. I’ll be racing both  the Des Moines WC and European Championships in Holten as well which means three races in three weeks. Coach Darren is with me over in the state to overlook the training and make sure I’m in one piece when I get to Holland..
